On a cold and wet morning in mid February 2009  the ISPY organisational team got together for the ISPY 2009 de brief and brain storming session for 2010, which happens to be our 10th anniversary. From that meeting we came up with the crazy idea of sending an ISPY teddy bear on a world tour; a world tour that would see him visiting many of our airline clients and sponsors

Of course we never do things by halves and now six months later the ISPY teddy bear has a name “Raymondo”, we are going to try to beat the official world record as set by the Guinness Book of world records, AND he has his own passport & suitcase with a fantastic selection of essential Travel Retail goodies!

Why? you might be asking yourself?  We want to re-engage past ISPY participants and excite future ones, whilst connecting as many people as possible to the ISPY inclusive philosophy.  Most importantly we will have some fun challenging the Guinness world record!

Each airline & sponsor can fly with Raymondo for seven days & try and clock up as many air miles as possible before handing him over to his next host. A presentation will be made to the airline who clocks up the most air miles (1 for long haul carriers and another for short haul)  and there is a competition for the best photo. The prize is either; 2 VIP tickets to the ISPY 2010 10th anniversary gala award night, including accommodation or a hamper of goodies worth £500.  (Do have a look at the best of the blog to see Raymondo’s lastest exploits!)
